"Spur of the Moment"
Little West Crater is about 60 meters
east of the Lunar Module. Late in the EVA, on the spur of the
moment, Neil Armstrong decided
to run out to the crater and take a partial
pan. He was away from the LM for only 3 minutes 15 seconds,
making the first runs of more than a few meters on the Moon. |
