I was born in Montreal and graduated from Concordia University with both Bachelor's (1978) and Masters (1983) Degrees in Electrical Engineering.
I joined Spar Aerospace Ltd in Montreal in 1978 and designed state-of-the-art communication satellite receivers until 1985, when I was assigned to SPAR's Toronto Division to design the Video System for Canada's contribution to the International Space Station (ISS), the Mobile Servicing System (MSS).
I joined the Canadian Space Agency in 1994 as the Systems architect for the MSS Video and Artificial Vision Systems.
Since 1996, I have been serving as a Senior Robotics Instructor. I am responsible for helping to develop both Astronaut and Mission Controller training courseware, and conducting Training Sessions for all Space Shuttle and ISS MSS Robotics Operators.
