S-Band Antenna
With some help from Al, Pete erected this large antenna early in the
first EVA to give NASA and the global audience a much better TV signal
than Apollo 11. Regretably, Al accidentally burned out the
vidicon tube in the TV by pointed it at the Sun while he was moving it. |
