Zeolite crystals consist of alternating arrays of silica and alumina. The crystals can take on many geometric forms such as cubes and tetrahedra. Students will observe zeolite crystal samples through a microscope and then sketch the samples. “Student reader” pages provide background information about zeolites. Student worksheets may be used to assess student learning.
