Students make a coin battery and learn about NASA’s battery-powered X-57 Maxwell airplane. The aircraft uses battery power instead of aviation fuel and an experimental wing that is smaller but still provides five times as much lift than usual. With hands-on learning stations, animations and digital challenges, students learn how airplanes fly and about this X-plane.
