Students explore key characteristics of weather. Each of these videos from PEEP and the Big Wide World models observations and descriptions for a common weather condition, including rain, snow, wind and sun. Students observe and compare different weather phenomena and identify key characteristics of weather in each video.

Support materials include a Spanish version of the video, background information, teaching tips and an activity.

This resource was developed through GBH’s Bringing the Universe to America’s Classrooms project, in collaboration with NASA’s Science Activation program.
