This month we are celebrating Women’s History Month. With this episode, we will learn what it takes to be a NASA Astronaut and what living in space is like. Christina Koch set the record for the longest single spaceflight by a woman, and was part of an all-woman spacewalk — the first in history.

STEM Short Activity: Bone Density
Objective: Learn how microgravity affects bone density and muscle mass in this fun, easy activity. Visit NASA’s STEM on Station website and help celebrate 20 years with the ISS.
Duration: 60 minutes
Materials Needed: Four plastic snack bags, corn puff cereal, heavy textbook, permanent marker and activity handout
