STEM Short Activity: International Space Station Robotic Arm
Objective: Students will learn how an engineer designs a mechanism (simple machine) to enable the station’s robotic arm to grapple a spacecraft.
Duration: 30 minutes – One hour
Materials Needed: Two foam coffee cups, three pieces of string (12 cm), one lollipop, tape, scissors
Difficulty: Easy-Medium
