Students can color and draw different types of planets while learning about planets that orbit other stars and a mission that will search for those planets. The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite, or TESS, mission will search for exoplanets — planets outside our solar system. While this activity is designed to appeal to K-4 students, younger readers may require some help because of the reading level of the text.
