Starport directly supports the mission of the Johnson Space Center by providing a variety of support activities and employee services. Currently, the JSC Team consists of a workforce of ~3,000 employees and over 8,000 contractors. When we include family members and friends, we impact over 15,000 people every year. Your donation will support programs like our Starport scholarship fund, employee wellness services, and morale events. Starport’s mission is to empower lives and promote the overall wellbeing of the JSC Team. Starport functions as a financially self-sustaining business entity that does not receive government funding from taxpayer dollars. In accordance with the National Aeronautics and Space Act, 51 U.S.C. § 20113 (a) and NASA Policy Directive 9050.6K, Starport seeks to promote morale and wellbeing for the JSC Team and their families and as appropriate, accepts donations and sponsors to support such programs.
