REFLECTIONS ON NASA’S AMES RESEARCH CENTER
This is a very nice article highlighting the many accomplishments of Ames over the past 80+ years. Of ALL the great things Ames has done over the decades, it is noteworthy that she specifically called out the Ames-led team [PI Alex Sehlke (SST)] entrusted with studying the pristine lunar samples collected during Apollo (4th paragraph). This is certainly historic research – and really nice to see Alex’s science from Ames highlighted at the highest levels of NASA PSD leadership.
