Professional Biography

Wen Yip, known as Irene Yip is a Project Manager with the NASA Earth eXchange (NEX) at Ames Research Center. She does budget planning, execution, monitoring, and quarterly planning review and update. She prepares, processes, and tracks NASA forms for scientific presentations (i.e., talks or posters) at conferences, meetings, or similar events, as well as online publications, journal articles, and books. She is responsible for assisting NEX team members with logistical issues which involves coordinating and arranging seminars with visiting colleagues; maintaining project schedules; and assisting with proposal writing.

Wen holds a BS in Software Engineering and a Master of Public Administration from the San Jose State University. Before joining the NEX team, she had been working as a web developer for 10 years. With her previous working experience in web development, she is also maintaining NEX website for the team.
