Professional Biography

Dr. Todd Lauderdale received a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He studied Classical Dynamics and Solid Mechanics at the University of California, Berkeley receiving a Masters and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering.

Todd has worked at NASA Ames Research Center since 2007 focusing on robust automation concepts for Separation Assurance in the National Airspace System. To enable this research, he has also been involved in development of a simulation framework to enable testing of new aircraft and operational concepts in a highly realistic, simulated environment.
