Maneesh Arya

Maneesh Arya began his career at Johnson Space Center as an experiment operations specialist supporting NASA’s Artificial Gravity Project at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He then joined NASA’s Neuroscience Laboratory, where he performed data analysis and software development.

Arya later became an integration scientist in the NASA Human Research Program (HRP) Science Management Office, where he coordinated research solicitations and developed policies and procedures related to science management. He also has helped organize HRP’s annual Investigators’ Workshop. In addition, he served as an analog science integrator for the Human Factors and Behavioral Performance element in HRP.

Arya holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a doctorate in Bioengineering from Rice University.
