Professional Biography
Laura is a Bay Area native coming to us from two successful careers, in the legal and tech industries. In 2021, Laura switched her career to the public sector and accepted a role at Lawrence Livermore National Labs. With passion and a strong desire to continue growing in the public sector, Laura joined Bay Area Environmental Research Institute, and is currently on assignment at NASA Ames Research Center, in the Atmospheric Science Branch, as a Research Support Specialist.
Laura is a positive force of energy with expertise in business operations, communications, administrative support, and diversity efforts. During her time in tech, she grew her career and held many titles across multiple disciplines from Corporate Communications, Engineering, Worldwide Sales, and Global Marketing. With each role, Laura expanded her depth of product knowledge, scope of responsibility and influence.
In her spare time, she loves to spend quality family time with her husband and four children, singing, hiking in the local Bay Area, exercising on her mirror, exploring, cooking, baking, learning new skills and volunteers her time in her community and her church.
