Research Interests
My research focuses on the development of chemical and scientific processes to enable engineering technologies used in the development of life support systems. I have developed technologies that include:
- Microgravity compatible trash compactor bags capable of containing 1/3rd their volume in water
- A brine processor capable of recovering 100% of the water (both free water and water of hydration)
- A method of determining the volume of water within a tank in microgravity irrespective of whether the tank is rigid or soft-goods, installed or free, or even large or small.
