Karina Drees
Karina Drees is President of Commercial Spaceflight Federation, a space industry association representing the commercial space industry, particularly for commercial launch companies, satellite manufactures, spaceports and in-space companies. CSF represents 90 organizations providing thousands of high-tech jobs nationwide, promoting the development and maturation of the commercial space industry, pursuing ever higher levels of safety, and providing value to the American taxpayer. Its members inspire young people to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and related professions.
Prior to CSF, Drees was CEO and General Manager of Mojave Air & Space Port (MASP), a general aviation airport and licensed spaceport in California. Drees currently serves as Chair for the FAA’s Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee (COMSTAC). Drees has a BS from Arizona State University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. She also completed in the International Space University’s Summer Session Program in Beijing, China.
