Kaiser Adeni
Mr. Kaiser Adeni is currently the Division Chief for the Institutional Management Division (IMD) at the NASA Office of JPL Management and Oversight (NOJMO) / Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). Mr. Adeni has the overall responsibility for the technical compliance management and oversight function of the JPL spaceflight programs and projects and Institutional Management. His responsibilities include Aircraft Management Operations, Environmental Management, Institutional Safety, Occupational Health, Facilities & Real Estate Management, Logistics Management, Export Control Administration, Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR), and Technology Utilization and Commercialization.
Mr. Adeni provides leadership to a NASA team of subject matter experts that ensure successful implementation of major national and international programs carrying out specific NASA science objectives. Previously, he held the position of the NOJMO Senior Technical Advisor to the NOJMO executive leadership and served as the technical liaison between the FFRDC contractor (Caltech) and NASA HQ providing technical insight of the overall development efforts at JPL/Caltech. Prior to NOJMO, Mr. Adeni served as the Senior Review Manager for Standing Review Boards (SRB) for the Independent Program Assessment Office (IPAO) at NASA headquarters where he conducted independent reviews at key milestones to evaluate program and project objectives, cost, schedule, and risk management compliance with the NASA Procedural Requirements. Mr. Adeni also served in a variety of roles for the successful SOFIA Program from Mission Manager to Deputy Chief Engineer. As a member of the Space Station Biological Project (SSBRP) Management Team, he managed the design, development, and commissioning of the NASA Ames Tele-Science Support Center (TSC) which ultimately led to the conduct of the first successful non-human life science experiment on the International Space Station (ISS).
Mr. Adeni received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Nagarjuna University, India, a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and received the Senior Executive Fellows (SEF) Program certification from Harvard University.
