Jerlin Hurtado

Jerlin has joined NASA’s Center of Excellence of Collaborative Innovation as an Open Innovation Advisor. I started my career at Intel as a technical project/product manager followed by running my own woman and minority owned small business focused on operational support. I hold a Master’s Degree in International and Development Economics and a Bachelor’s in International Relations. I am passionate about cutting edge technologies propelling the next generation and particularly excited about joining the aerospace industry. I grew up in Florida and nothing was more inspiring than witnessing rocket launches out of my window and feeling the sonic boom at every landing. I am naturally driven and as a mother of 2 boys I find myself even more motivated to keep learning. When we are not playing tennis as a family we are out and about exploring beautiful California with my husband and dog.
