Professional Biography

Harrison Raine is a Project Coordinator with NASA’s FireSense Project dedicated to improving technological capacity to mitigate wildfire impacts. Harrison brings several years of on-the-ground wildland firefighting experience to his role. He became introduced to NASA FireSense while participating in NASA’s DEVELOP Program to develop Potential Operational Delineations (PODs) for Marin County California. His previous work and research focused on the intersection of wildfire on housing, specifically the effects of wildfire on mobile home park communities.
