Antony Jeevarajan, PhD, currently serves as Deputy Division Chief, Biomedical Research, and Environmental Sciences (BRES) Division under the Human Health and Performance (HH&P) Directorate at the NASA Johnson Space Center. The Biomedical Research and Environmental Sciences Division conducts research and performs operational activities related to Human Exploration Spaceflight programs.
Education
Dr. Jeevarajan received his PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Notre Dame.
Experience
He has worked in the areas of radiation, photochemistry, and electrochemistry of antioxidants. He has also developed sensing systems for bioreactors involved in tissue engineering. Dr. Antony Jeevarajan has published over 45 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the American Chemical Society. Past positions include Biotechnology R&D Manager, Deputy Branch Chief, Biomedical Research and Deputy Division Chief, Habitability and Environmental Factors Division at the NASA Johnson Space Center.
