Professional Biography
Ms. Divya Bhadoria is an aerospace researcher in the Aviation Systems Division at NASA Ames Research Center, where she is managing Airspace Operations sub-project in the Air Mobility Pathfinders Project. Previously, she managed NASA’s Advanced Air Mobility National Campaign and before that lead the Analytics and Benefits teams for the Airspace Technology Demonstration 2 (ATD-2) sub-project. Her recent work has focused on helping mature Advanced Air Mobility domain by developing safe and efficient airspace for various new and emerging entrants.
Ms. Bhadoria is the recipient of the 2023 NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal for outstanding contributions to the Advanced Air Mobility National Campaign and advancing airspace development for Urban Air Mobility, 2023 NASA Superior Accomplishment Award for outstanding Advanced Air Mobility National Campaign Leadership, 2022 NASA Ames Honor Award for Best First Paper as a NASA Civil Servant, 2021 NASA Superior Accomplishment Award for outstanding leadership of ATD-2 Phase 3 environmental benefits analysis, along with several NASA groups awards.
Before joining NASA in 2019, Ms. Bhadoria worked as a computer scientist in Silicon Valley for over 15 years and was involved in designing and building complex commercial and scientific software systems in a variety of industries including Biotechnology, Electronic Design Automation, Semiconductors, and Surgical Robotics.
Ms. Bhadoria received her Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from India, and Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of South Florida. Ms. Bhadoria is a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
