Acting Director of Procurement at Johnson Space Center

Bradley Niese is the Acting Director of Procurement at Johnson Space Center (JSC). In this role, he is responsible for JSC’s procurement operations, which includes executive leadership of more than 140 personnel and an annual procurement spend of $4.6 billion.

Previously, Niese served as the Deputy Director and Associate Director of Procurement. Before moving into directorate leadership, he served four years as manager of JSC’s International Space Station and Commercial Low Earth Orbit Programs Procurement Office, and nearly two and a half years as manager of JSC’s Source Selection and Analysis Office. He has previously served as president of the Space City Houston Chapter of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA). Niese is a graduate of Harvard’s Senior Executive Fellows Program and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and management Information systems from Ohio University and an executive MBA from the United States Naval Post Graduate School. Outside of work, he is happily married to his wife, Bridget, and they stay busy raising four boys, ages 4, 5, 18 and 20.
