Dr. K. Chauncey Wu – NESC Academy Biography

Chauncey Wu is an Acquisition Manager in the Science Office for Mission Assessments at the NASA Langley Research Center.  He started his NASA career as a co-op student in 1985, and graduated from Purdue University with a BS in 1988.  He earned a MS from the University of Illinois in 1990, and a PhD from the Delft University of Technology in 2006. In addition to several structures research branches, he has also worked on launch vehicle systems analysis and conceptual design. 

Dr. Wu’s technical interest is the design, analysis, manufacturing and testing of advanced composite tow-steered structures.
