Steve Shinn serves as the acting chief financial officer, ensuring the financial health of the agency and oversees all financial management, budget, strategic planning, and performance activities relating to NASA’s programs and operations.

Jim Worm is the Deputy Chief Financial Officer for Strategic Insights and Budget within NASA's Office of Chief Financial Officer. He leads Agency-level strategic planning, performance evaluation activities, and investment portfolio analyses contributing to internal Agency decision making and to inform external stakeholders. He is also responsible for leading the Agency’s annual budget formulation and execution activities, including overseeing the programming process, OMB submit and pass-back, Congressional Justification development, and Budget roll-out products and activities. 

Frank Petersen, Deputy Chief Financial Officer (DCFO) for Finance position, with the responsibility for the financial management, execution, quality assurance, internal control, and reporting of all Agency Accounting and Financial resources.

Mary Denise Kerwin is Deputy Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Appropriations for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Ms. Kerwin is responsible for advising the Administrator and his senior leadership on all matters pertaining to presentation of, and advocacy for, NASA’s annual budget requests to Congress, ensuring that NASA’s budget and programs are communicated effectively and consistently to Congress, securing appropriations outcomes that maximize the President’s program for NASA, communicating fully with Congress on the execution of enacted NASA budgets, and ensuring that NASA’s relationship with the House and Senate Committees on Appropriations remains open and productive.

Susan Kroskey, Associate Chief Financial Officer for Enterprise Integration responsible for overseeing OCFO integration and transformation and other critical special activities, including integrating HQ and Center service delivery to strengthen our financial management operations across NASA.
