Representatives of large and small businesses, NASA prime contractors and subcontractors will participate Sept. 20 in a Small Business Alliance Meeting organized by NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
The event will be from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CDT at the Davidson Center for Space Exploration, part of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville. Leading Marshall personnel will brief attendees on the latest contract opportunities. At 9:45 a.m., Marshall will present its annual Industry and Advocate Awards for fiscal year 2018, identifying individuals, prime contract firms and subcontractors whose contributions enabled Marshall to successfully execute NASA’s mission.
Speakers from Marshall will include Roy Malone, director, Office of Center Operations; Kellie Craig, acting director, Office of Procurement; Kevin McGhaw, deputy director, Office of Strategic Analysis and Communications; and Stacy Counts, associate manager, Human Exploration Development and Operations Office. Other speakers will be Decatur Mayor Tab Bowling and Madison City Administrator Mark Jacobson.
