Current and former NASA Dryden staff taking part in this commemoration of the Wright brothers’ historic flight include Vance Brand, Scott Crossfield, Bill Dana, Gordon Fullerton, Fitz Fulton, Dale Reed, Ed Schneider and Rogers Smith. For the event’s banquet Sept. 27, guests include astronauts Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin, Scott Carpenter, Eugene Cernan, Eileen Collins, Robert Crippen, James Lovell, Wally Schirra, and Richard Truly. This year’s symposium features a number of historical presentations documenting a century of flight, and includes a large exhibit from Dryden.
