Mountain View Voice (7/5, Forestieri, 52K) reported the Ames Research Center is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a 17-piece living museum. The facility, in partnership with the cities of Mountain view and Sunnyvale, will place 17 exhibits on display in the two cities to show off engineering and scientific endeavors from the past and present at the research center. Some of these exhibits include a robotic aircraft exhibit and CheMin, a chemistry and mineralogy instrument that was used on the Mars rover Curiosity to analyze soil samples and look for signs of life.
