Working as a process engineer for Primus Aerospace, Narate Carbajal helps create the parts needed to bring the Orion spacecraft to life. In Golden, Colorado, he manufactures flight components for Orion, contributing to the spacecraft that will take humans father in space than ever before.
Carbajal completed his education at the University of Colorado Boulder, and said working on Orion has shown him just how far-reaching the effort of Artemis is.
“Seeing the complexity of the individual parts of spacecraft has given me a deeper appreciation of the massive multidisciplinary effort it takes to launch them. That’s something I wouldn’t have appreciated until I had the opportunity to manufacture such a wide variety of components for the Artemis program.”
