Strategic Planning Branch

The Strategic Planning Branch (SPB) within the Office of Strategic Infrastructure (OSI) Facilities and Real Estate Division (FRED) supports the Agency’s Strategic Planning Objective 4.2 to “transform mission support capabilities for the next era of aerospace” by playing a central role in managing NASA’s real property portfolio to optimize mission readiness, affordability, and sustainability.

The SPB is composed of the 1) Agency Master Planning Program, 2) Construction of Facilities (CoF) Program, 3) Energy Program, 4) Institutional Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) Program, 5) Demolition/Consolidation Program, and the 6) IT & Data Strategy Program. The SPB fosters and facilitates collaboration among NASA external and internal stakeholders to ensure that it’s program implementation actions offer reliable, cost-effective, and environmentally sound benefits to NASA’s mission today and into the next era of aerospace excellence.
