The MAF Medical Clinic plays a crucial role in supporting the NASA mission by protecting and maintaining the health and safety of the Agency’s greatest assets, the NASA workforce, all while partnering with the respective site tenants.

Services

MAF’s on-site Medical Clinic provides occupational health physical examinations identified in NPR 1800.1 related to job certifications and/or surveillances. In addition, services related to work-related illness or injuries, fitness center clearances, return-to-work evaluations, and non-emergency treatments and/or stabilization health services to employees and tenants are provided.

Under the direction of a Medical Director, the Medical Clinic is staffed with a Certified Nurse Practitioner, Registered Radiologic Technologist, and a Registered Medical Assistant who are prepared to support MAF’s medical needs.

Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)

An AED can correct an arrhythmia and significantly improve the victim’s chance of survival, especially when used within the first few minutes, in conjunction with Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
