NASA Fellowships
NASA Fellowship Activity (NFA) is a graduate fellowship program for Master’s or Ph.D. level student research during the school year. The program provides funding to work at a NASA center for 10 weeks with a mentor on a specific project.

For Postdocs
The MCMC has mentored postdoctoral fellows through the NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) for more than a decade. Please contact melinda.a.kahre@nasa.gov if you are interested in applying. Applications are accepted three times per year on March 1st, July 1st, and November 1st.
Applications to work with the MCMC should go through NPP (see link below) opportunity ID # 17615 “Space Science: Theoretical and Experimental Studies of the Martian Environment, Impact Assessment for Future Mars Missions.” Please see below for all other postdoctoral fellowship listings.
NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) Fellowships
The NPP Program provides 1- to 3-year postdoc assignments at NASA centers including Ames. The MCMC has mentored postdoctoral fellows through this program for more than a decade. Please contact us if you are interested in applying.
