Supermoon Lunar Eclipse

The supermoon lunar eclipse captured as it moved over NASA’s Glenn Research Center on September 27, 2015. This rare event last occurred in 1982 and won’t happen again until 2033. NASA Goddard deputy project scientist Noah Petro explains more on the science behind this phenomenon.
