Orbiter Model in Wind Tunnel
In this 1980 photograph, an engineer at the Marshall Space Flight Center holding a replica of the proposed Liquid Booster Module observes the testing of a space shuttle orbiter model 14 Wind Tunnel. The tunnel is a trisonic wind tunnel, which is capable of running subsonic, transonic, and supersonic tests.
