NASA SOFIA Pilot Elizabeth Ruth
Research pilot Elizabeth Ruth is the only female pilot who flies the Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA). Ruth has been flying SOFIA for NASA Armstrong since 2016.
