
Karakoram in Central Asia
iss070e029134 (Nov. 21, 2023) -- As the International Space Station soared 260 miles above central Asia, the Karakoram mountain creates a root-like appearance. As one of the world's most geologically active areas, the system extends more than 300 miles (~500 km).
