Astronaut Mike Barratt replaces fuel bottles inside the Combustion Integrated Rack

iss071e439784 (Aug. 5, 2024) NASA astronaut Mike Barratt replaces components inside the space station’s Combustion Integrated Rack. This facility is used for a range of combustion experiments including studies on fuel efficiency, flame behavior, and fire prevention. Results could improve crew safety and provide insights to improve energy efficiency in space and on Earth.
