The Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer
The Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) is a cosmic particle detector attached to the International Space Station's Starboard Truss-3 structure and undergoing repairs to its thermal pump system during a series of spacewalks with astronauts Andrew Morgan and Luca Parmitano.
