ISS038-E-036262 (27 Jan. 2014) — Russian cosmonaut Sergey Ryazanskiy, Expedition 38 flight engineer, attired in a Russian Orlan spacesuit, is pictured in this close-up view taken during a session of extravehicular activity (EVA) in support of assembly and maintenance on the International Space Station. During the six-hour, eight-minute spacewalk, Ryazanskiy and Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kotov (out of frame), commander, completed the installation of a pair of high fidelity cameras that experienced connectivity issues during the Dec. 27 spacewalk, and retrieved scientific gear outside the station’s Russian segment. Kotov and a section of the space station are visible in the reflections in his helmet visor.
