Title: Vehicle Test & Integration Branch logo

Designer: Troy Robillos

Year it was designed: 2014

Explanation or story behind the logo: Troy made the logo when he was a Pathways student in 2014. Steve Jensen, who was the RT/550 branch chief at the time, had a contest to create a new logo for the department. Troy wanted to create something simple but also had meaning.
Here is his inspiration for the logo:
1) Circuit board background was used to represent the RT/550 branch which primarily does electrical engineering work.
2) He chose the F-15 since he was assigned to a project using that plane.
3) His logo also pays tribute to the current NASA logo:
a. Used the same red, white, & blue color scheme
b. The red and blue outer rings are the same color as the one used in the NASA logo.
c. He pulled the stars and dots from the NASA logo and put them in the outer ring to represent the space side of our Agency.
