As NASA’s Juno spacecraft flew past our planet for a gravity assist, its imaging camera took this image of Jupiter, the mission’s ultimate destination. The single-filter image was acquired by JunoCam on October 9, 2013 at 18:51:30 UT. The glow at bottom is scattered light from Earth, which is just outside the camera field of view.
