The Minitrack System Blossom Point Proving Ground in Maryland would be the hub where all the elements of the network would feed into. The facility was operational between 1956 – 1966 before it was handed over to the Naval Research Laboratory again. Blossom Point will once again host a part of NASA’s tracking network in 2018.
