Thirteen local high school students had opportunity to explore their future as they followed in the shadow of NASA Wallops Flight Facility employees during the annual National Job Shadow Day Feb. 2. This is the fifth year NASA Wallops has participated in the event.
Thirteen local high school students had opportunity to explore their future as they followed in the shadow of NASA Wallops Flight Facility employees during the annual National Job Shadow Day Feb. 2. This is the fifth year NASA Wallops has participated in the event. The junior and senior grade students represent seven schools in Accomack, Worcester, Somerset and Wicomico counties. During the day students followed employees, explored potential careers and participated in research and other activities.
The students also received information on internships and career possibilities with NASA.
