At NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, engineers took the four self-propelled modular transporters out for a test drive. The transporters are controlled by an operator using a joy stick controller. The core stage’s large tanks will carry the propellant to power the world’s most powerful rocket, and the only rocket capable of sending humans on a journey to Mars.
