Famed aerospace artist Robert McCall with one of three major murals that he painted for NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Center, “Accepting the Challenge of Flight.” Completed in 1997, the mural depicts a variety of Dryden employees in front of a backdrop of various research aircraft flown at Dryden in that era as well as his concepts of the final frontier of spaceflight.1997
