Journal Contributor Matt Kay writes:
I have always had a passion for the history of manned spaceflight ever since, as a four year old, I was taken outside by mother in July 1969 to wave to the 'man in the moon'.
I am currently an IT specialist for an Australian bank called Suncorp-Metway. Prior to this, I worked in the mining industry as a geophysicist where I was tasked with applying geophysical methods to help identify undiscovered mineral deposits. I also worked as a research officer at the University of Queensland where I specialised in the development of quantative geological models that were based on geophysical and conventional datasets. My research can viewed online.
I think that the ALSJ is a wonderful resource and Eric Jones and his team deserve to be warmly congratulated for establishing and maintaining it.
