At all the landing sites other than Apollo 17, Earth was high in the local sky. Taking a photo of Earth usually meant taking the Hasselblad off the RCU bracket and then, while bending back as much as the stiffness of the suit and the weight of the PLSS would allow, manually pointing the camera at Earth for the shot. In some cases, it was possible to use the LM ladder for support.
