Ulli writes, "The background story of this Apollo 12 related sketch can be found at 135:10:42 GET, during the EVA2 close-out."

135:10:42 Conrad: Okay. (Pause) Did you ever get the picture of the LM and Earth?

135:10:47 Bean: Nope.

135:10:48 Conrad: Oh, that's a shame.

135:10:49 Bean: I know it.

135:10:50 Conrad: Hi, Earth! I can see us. It's up over the LM now. It's the first time I've had a chance to look. You're about a quarter Earth. (Pause)

Ulli continues, "The Apollo 11 crew took photos of their LM with the Earth overhead and Al Bean planned to do the same, as indicated in his cuff checklist. Unfortunately, he forgot to take those photos."

"By the time Pete asked Al about these photos, he didn't have a camera. Minutes earlier he had thrown away Al's broken Hasselblad - as shown in the sketch Hasselblad Toss - and Al and the only remaining Hasselblad camera were already in the LM cabin."
