"After our son, 'Little Christian' - then 2 1/2 years old - met Alan for the first time (and shared some spaghetti with him), he started to talk in his cute, child's language about 'Nonno Bean'. None of us knew what 'Nonno' meant. We only knew it was not German."

"We now think 'Nonno' was Christian's pronnunciation of 'Astronaut' and still, today, when Christian sees an image of an astronaut he says: 'Hey, he looks like Nonno Bean!'"
