Arriving on the Ocean of Storms in November 1969, he quickly realized that there were no grocery stores in the neighborhood and decided to open a branch of the family business.

Within minutes, he had his first potential customer, a traveler who was badly in need of cigarettes, having sworn off for the duration of his long journey.
